Recent Photography Work

I’ve done quite a bit of photography recently even though I haven’t updated this site much. On Sunday I took portraits of the Moothart family at a nearby park. The active boys were definitely a challenge, but very fun at the same time.

A couple months back I helped Heather Fuqua shoot a wedding down in San Diego.

In July I took photos for a news story about Hollywood’s 20th Century Props and owner Harvey Schwartz.

The latest issue of The Seed Company’s Seedlinks publication features more of my photos as well (including the cover shot).

Finally, I’ve been posting quite regularly to the FOCUS photo blog.

Some of my photos from my last trip to SE Asia have been published in the latest Seedlinks magazine: the cover photo, along with the photos in the “Remote Possibilities” and “Working Together a World Apart” articles. Be sure to check out this excellent publication by The Seed Company to see what God is doing through this great organization. It was a privilege to be have a small part in this.

Volcano Panorama Published Online

A resort in northern Sulawesi, Indonesia (Tasik Ria Resort) contacted me about using one of my photos on their website. It’s partway down on the page in the Volcano Trekking Tour section: the Mount Mahawu Crater panorama that I posted to my photo blog here.

The Johnson & Johnson Wedding

Event Shooting: TSC Invitational in Atlanta

Although I haven’t been good at posting to this site recently, I have actually been doing a fair amount of photography. The Seed Company flew me out to Atlanta, GA to shoot at a fundraising golf event they were hosting over the weekend May 19-21. The event went well, and so did the shooting. Although it meant being away from home on my birthday, I’m really glad I did it. It was a great experience. I’m not going to post any of the photos here, since TSC will be using them elsewhere, but they were happy with the results. Atlanta is a beautiful area, and a bonus was taking a short helicopter ride over the Atlanta Athletic Club to get some aerial shots.

Torrey Honors Faculty Photos

The Torrey Honors Institute at Biola hired me to take portraits of the faculty for use on the web and other print publications. I shot the photos on campus (outside), to be most convenient for the busy professors.
